google va fermer slide. après avoir racheter cette start-up basée sur les jeux et les réseaux sociaux il y a un an pour 126 millions d’euros, google fait disparaître le tout afin de pouvoir développer sur son nouveau google+ son espace jeu. les nombreux utilisateurs de ces jeux, notamment superpoke pets (jeu au succès mondial) ne sont que des poupées de chiffons entre leurs mains. peut importe pour google que beaucoup aient dépensé de l’argent sur ce jeu, s’y soient créé un réseau social très important pour eux… comment comprendre leurs motivations? : superpoke pets (spp pour les intimes) est certainement un jeu très rentable, de nouveaux joueurs s’inscrivent chaque jour. il est difficile de croire que l’explication soit un problème de bénéfices. alors pourquoi? il semble impossible d’obtenir des chiffres, nombres d’adhérents, gains financiers… encore plus incompréhensible, google+ ne proposera pas ce jeu sur son site, il l’élimine purement et simplement. ces prochaines phrases peuvent paraître subversives, mais laissent perplexes : le fait que spp permettent à des habitants de tout pays de communiquer, de se connaître et de ce fait, de s’apprécier, mais aussi de découvrir la réalité des amis d’autres continents (spp n’est pas seulement un jeu, mais aussi un site de réseau social), celle que l’on ne peut voir dans les médias, serait-il si problématique? la dureté de ces propos vient de l’incompréhension de ce choix de faire disparaître spp. consultez les pages web suivantes :

Je me fais l'écho, ce matin, de la campagne pacifiste lancée par une joueuse de Superpoke Pets (SPP) afin de sauver le jeu. Son raisonnement est le suivant: puisque SPP est un jeu mettant en scène des animaux virtuels, et que Google s'apprête à les éliminer, il s'agit de cruauté envers les animaux... virtuels, d'accord, mais cruauté quand même!! - puisqu'il s'agit de meurtre de masse. Alors, pour montrer son mécontentement face à cette décision cruelle, tout en soutenant les animaux (virtuels ou non) - plaçons en haut à droite de notre habitat, un ruban violet, symbole de la cause des animaux maltraités.

On August 27, 2011, Google decided that it would shut down SPP in about 6 months. I have looked in the forums & see that I'm not the only person that is upset by this! SPP is many things to many people, & we do NOT want to see it go. Please send out a message to your club, & to all of your friends, along with a purple ribbon, to show Google that we, the members of SPP, will not tolerate the abuse they are inflicting on our pets! Here is the message I am sending out with my gift of a purple ribbon (it stands for animal cruelty, how fitting!):

"PLZ put this purple ribbon in the top right corner of your habi, to show unity for the SPP community! Also, send a ribbon to 10 of your pals so they can do the same "

Please show your support, by placing the ribbon in the top right corner of each habitat you create, & ask your friends to do the same. The ribbon costs 20 coins in the pet shop, & if we can stay united in our anger with Google's poor decision, we just might have a chance to save SPP. Remember, there ARE people watching what is going on here - I have read articles that show me that this is getting publicity & attention outside of the SPP community!

There are many great ideas & suggestions as to what can be done to save our beloved SPP & our pets. I'm hoping to condense the most popular & do-able ideas into one thread. We need to unite, making our voices heard.

1. Call CNN at 1-404-827-1500

CNN has caught news of this story by MANY...When I called, I had to wait for about 5 min for a live person to answer. The person who came on pointed me to the right area where I had to leave a detailed message with my number & email... Then, about 15 minutes later I received a call from a Tip Manager... I did some minor explaining of what has happened & the empty promises posted in bulletins from SLIDE & they supposedly already have a team working on this story... I told them how many of us have $1000's invested into this game & have even turned it into a business & now they're just pulling the plug despite their promises that the game was not going to be cancelled. All I can say is they told me the more info they receive, the better...

The more people who do this, the more chance we have... It seems to have sparked a serious interest w/ CNN... & REMEMBER this isn't the 1st time CNN has covered Super Poke Pets...

2. CALL GOOGLE's Corporate Headquarters in CA at 1-650-253-0000 & voice your complaint. Send an e-mail to GOOGLE at: gv-press@google.com

3. Someone came up with an idea that maybe, or maybe not, work; but I really think that it is worth a shot. I have the email address of one of the Google top dogs, Bradley Horowitz. I emailed him a plea and I got a response back almost immediately. Now this is my idea: Everybody email your favorite, best, funniest, etc, habitats to him @ bradley@alum.mit.edu I doubt if these people have any idea what this game is or the potential it contains. I'm going to do this, I hope the rest of you will too!! Let's stop whining and do something!!! the object is to show them how much we LOVE spp...not how much we hate google.....so, get Bradley's attention

Google and its entities need to be boycotted until this is resolved. That includes: search engine, email, mobile apps., etc.
